Selection of Students for the Nursing programmes
Regarding the Selection to UG programmes and Postgraduate programmes offered under the Faculty of Nursing Sciences, the selection will be based on the merit at the Common Entrance Test SBVDUCET 2023 conducted by SBV for the academic year 2023-24 on All India basis. Candidates opting for B.Sc. (N) programme at Shri Sathya Sai College of Nursing (SSSCON) shall appear for the same at SSSCON campus (SBV Off Campus). Candidates opting for courses at Kasturba Gandhi Nursing College will appear for the Entrance at KGNC campus (SBV Main campus).
- The Entrance Test for B.Sc. (N)Â programme will comprise of 100 MCQs of 1 mark each from the subjects Physics (20), Chemistry (20) and Biology (20), Aptitude for Nursing (20) and English (20) at the Higher Secondary Level. For eligibility to appear for the Common Entrance Test, the candidates should have scored at least an aggregate of 45% (5 % relaxation for SC / ST candidates) in the subjects, Physics, Chemistry and Biology at +2 level. The duration is 3 hours from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm.
- The Entrance Test for P.B.B.Sc. (N)Â will comprise of 50 MCQs of 1 mark each and the duration will be 90 minutes, as per the following table,

Instructions for filling up Online application forms and attaching self-attested copies of certificates
(a) Application forms are available online only. It should be duly filled up by the candidates and submitted online along with the scanned copies of requested documents as pdf (Document Size not exceeding 3 MB) and recent passport size color photograph as attachment (jpeg format, Size:Â 250 KB).
(b) The Registration fee of Rs.500/-(Rupees Five hundred only) paid online, while submitting the online application, will not be refunded under any circumstance.       Â
(c) Candidates should attach only scanned copies of Self Attested Certificates related to qualification, age and community namely HSC Mark sheet(s), Birth Certificate and Community Certificate etc. The Mark Sheet(s) of the Qualifying examination in original and other Original Documents have to be produced only at the time of counseling.
(d)  Applications will not be entertained if incomplete or uploaded without attaching the scanned copies of the relevant certificates and without paying the registration fee online.
(e) Â Candidates who have appeared for the HSC (10+2) Examination in March-April, 2023 should necessary enclose a scanned copy of the HSC (10+2)/ equivalent exam Hall ticket with the online application form. If the HSC Mark List is not available at the time of applying the candidates should send the scanned copy of their HSC mark list prior to the date of Common Entrance Test without fail.
(f) The scanned copy has to be submitted through the e-mail [email protected] mentioning the Candidate name, Programme opted, Registration Number, along with the copy of their Hall Ticket well in advance to the date of the Common Entrance Test.
(g)Â Â All Entrance /Interview related communications like (Hall Ticket/Call Letter, Entrance/Interview Results and Counseling Intimation Order etc.,) will be sent through Application Portal as well as in our website only. Hence the candidates are advised to keep their User ID and Password for their future reference. No separate communication will be sent to any individual e-mail or SMS.
(h)Â Â It is the responsibility of the applicant to keep himself / herself updated about the Common Entrance Test through the Application portal.
