 
Cadaveric workshop was conducted by the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Shri Sathya Sai Medical College and Research Institute, a constituent college of Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth, on Incision and suturing techniques for the CRRIs from 9 am to 3 pm on 15th March 2019.
The program started with the welcome speech by Dr.Sivankumar, Prof & Head, Department of OBGfollowed by felicitation addresses by Dr.P.F. Kotur, Dean – SSSMCRI, Dr.Sukumar, Medical Superintendent and Dr.Gurubharath, Prof & HOD of Radiology. A seminar session on the anatomy of the anterior abdominal wall, types of incisions, different types of suture materials and on various types of suturing techniques were delivered before the hands-on training. This was followed by Hands-on workshop where all the CRRIs were given Hands on experience on various types of incisions, suturing all the layers of the abdominal wall on the 3 cadavers provided, which was supervised by the faculty and postgraduates of Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
