 Women’s day celebration 2023 was held over two consecutive days- 07/03/2023 (Tuesday ) and 08/03/2023(Wednesday) at INDIRA GANDHI INSTITUTE OF DENTAL SCIENCES, SBV. On Tuesday, a self-defense program was conducted from 3 to 4 p.m in Maulana Abul Kalam Azad hall, Bapuji Central library, SBV. The guest speaker for the day was Ms. Subiksha, CRRI. She talked about the importance of self-defense and also demonstrated few techniques of self defense. The audience included undergraduates and faculties. On the same day, distribution of sanitary napkins in the SOS village orphanage home was done. On Wednesday, Women’s day badges were distributed to all the undergraduates, postgraduates, faculties and non – teaching staffs. A message box was set up as a mean to appreciate women who inspired others.
