 
Kasturba Gandhi Nursing College in collaboration with Government of Puducherry conducted Door to Door Survey and Source reduction campaign on Dengue, at KandhanpetStreet, SabthaGiri Nagar, East Street, MariammanKoil Street and Balwadi Street, Kirumampakkam PHC, Puducherry on 08.11.2019 between 9 am to 12.30 PM. 111 houses were covered in this survey.
The campaign well-coordinated by Dr.Narayanan, Medical Officer, Mr.Nandakumar,Health Inspector, Health Assistants, ANM, ASHAs and Nursing Faculty Mrs.Bamalakshmi. , Asso. Prof, HOD, Dept. of Community Health Nursing and Mrs.Rajalakshmi.R, Asst.Prof, Department of Community Health Nursing, KGNC. 20 final year students actively involved in identifying the sources for Aedes Mosquitoe Breeding and removed / destroyed the Sources identified. This Campaign was very useful for the student’s in order to provoke the awareness among the community in Prevention and Control of Dengue
