 Swachhta Summer Internship Course was inaugurated in Kasturba Gandhi Nursing college on May 14th 2018. Dr Renuka.K, Principal, KGNC has been appointed as a Nodal Officer for Swachh Bharat Summer Internship Course (100 Hours Experiential Programme) by Ministry of Human Resource Development in association with Ministry of Safe Drinking Water and Sanitation to bring significant contributions in swachhta revolution. The objective is to engage Youth across the Country, develop their skill and orientation for sanitation related work and make Swachh Bharat Mission an effective one. Under this Mission, Kasturba Gandhi Nursing College adopted Bahour Village as their choice and worked with the Village Community for developing a lasting system for improving the overall sanitation and hygiene in the Village. Students involved in activities like area Cleaning, Waste collection drive, Seed ball awareness, Handwashing Programme for School Children, Sapling Planting, Palm seed planting etc.,
