In commemoration of World Heart Day, Department Of Medical-Surgical Nursing organized awareness programme on 27.09.18 at Rajiv Gandhi College of Engineering and Technology. The objective of the programme was to highlight the theme of the year “My Heart Your Heart”- A Promise to Eat More Healthily, To Get more active and Say No to Smoking. Mrs.Nandhini.M, Tutor gave a lucid Health Talk on overview of Coronary Artery Diseases and Aspects of Maintain a Healthy Heart & The Required Life Style Modification. Nearly 200 Students and Teachers were empowered with the knowledge on Heart health and its value for a healthy living. The effectiveness of the programme was evident by the written feedback from all the beneficiaries, which rated the World Heart Day was very useful and valuable the programme was graded as excellent ‘A’.
