 The student council 2022-23 conducted Freshers day on 27th March, 2023 for the batch of 2022 UG students. The theme of the freshers party was lights, camera, action where the students dressed up as their favourite movie character for the night. The event started by 4:30 pm. The Vice Chancellor Prof. Nihar Ranjan Biswas, Dean Prof. Seetesh Ghose and Dr. S. Padmavathi (VP Students Affairs) graced the event with their presence. Various events like dancing, singing and ramp walk were conducted for the batch of 2022. The major highlight of the event was the ramp walk where the participants were adorned with various titles. The conducting batch Celestrianz also performed a host dance for the students. The catering secretaries distributed popcorn and soda to the students during the event. Prizes were given to the students who imitated their favourite movie characters the best way possible. The best dancers and singers were given certificates. The event was a great success, all the students enjoyed the night. Finally the event came to an end with music and dance.
