Department of Microbiology, MGMCRI conducted one day Pre-conference workshop on “Automation in Medical Microbiology Diagnostics” as a part of the XXXIX National Conference of Indian Association of Medical Microbiologists at MGMC&RI, Pondicherry on 25.11.2015.
The workshop included training on BACTEC 2 FX blood culture system, Vitek 2 identification and antimicrobial susceptibility testing system for bacteria and yeasts, and molecular tests .
Prof. Ravishankar M, Dean, MGMCRI and Prof. NirmalCoumare, Medical Superintendent, MGMCRI inaugurated the workshop.
