SPEAK-Simulated Patient Encounter for AETCOM Knowledge TOT on Simulated Patient recruitment and Training.

Simulated patient’s SP’s are used to teach various level of communication skills. They form a major resource to teach soft skills and team dynamics to health professions students. The need, role of SP’s and the method of SP training is required to efficiently conduct a teaching session with SP’s. The SP methodology has wide scope in teaching and assessment. The workshop was conducted to create awareness and train faculty on the SP methodology. 21 Faculty from basic science and clinical department of MGMCRI & SSSMCRI were the participants. Interactive lecture & small group activity were the mode of the workshop delivery. Conducted on 2^nd December, 2022& 16^th June 2023 at Medical Simulation Centre, MGMCRI.
