 
The Anti-Ragging Committee of Shri Sathya Sai College of Nursing organized a Sensitization Programme on Prevention of Ragging on 18.10.2022, in the Multi-Purpose Hall at College Block. The theme of the program was Anti Ragging Awareness Drive-Anti Ragging Act, Punishments and measures for curbing Ragging. The program aimed to create awareness about ragging and Measures to prevent it. The program was organized by Dr. Helen Shaji J C, (Principal, and SSSCON) the event was coordinated by Dr.Golda Sahaya Rani, (Professor, Department of Medical Surgical Nursing, SSSCON). The program started at 10:00 am with the invocation of the SBV Anthem followed by a welcome address by Prof.Dr.Uma Devi, (Associate Professor, HOD Dept of Midwifery and Obstetrical Nursing, SSSCON). Dr. Helen Shaji J C (Principal, SSSCON) delivered the keynote address. The functions of the Anti-Ragging Committee were explained by Dr.Golda Sahaya Rani, (Professor, Department of Medical Surgical Nursing, SSSCON). The Chief Guest, Mrs. Kalainila, Advocate, Chengalpattu Bar Association, presented on the topic Anti Ragging Awareness Drive-Anti Ragging Act, Punishments and measures for curbing Ragging. The vote of thanks was proposed by Mrs. Emy Jancy Rani J, (Assistant Professor, SSSCON). A total number of 203 delegates attended the program. The program was successfully completed at 12.00 pm with the national anthem.
