 
Yogacharya Dr Ananda Balayogi Bhavanani, Deputy Director CYTER in Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth was an invited resource person for the International Conference on “Yoga for the Body and Beyond” organized at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi from 22-23 June 2016 by the Ministry of AYUSH, Govt of India. The grand event was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Vice President of India, Shri M Hamid Ansari and saw participation from more than 34 countries as well as all states of India. Dr Ananda presented an invited talk in the first technical session on “Power of Pranayama” and participated in the concluding Panel Discussion that fielded pertinent questions from the enthusiastic global audience. It is noteworthy that he is also a member of the AYUSH Ministry committee of Yoga experts for the International Day of Yoga celebrations and Scientific Advisory Committee of the CCRYN (Central Council for Research in Yoga and Naturopathy). Dr Ananda also participated in the executive committee meetings of the Indian Yoga Association of which he is Director of Publications.
