 
Ensuing the General Elections of Puducherry Legislative Assembly in April 2021, Elections Department, Puducherry conducted a half a day session to the first time voters among the students of MGMCRI in coordination with NSS team of MGMCRI on the forenoon of 25thMarch 2021 (Thursday). This main aim of the program was to impart knowledge about the Election Process viz., contestant identification, nomination, canvasing, filling forms related to Elections and to impart hands on training to use EVM-VVPAT machine for the first time voters. A mock election was also conducted using EVM-VVPAT machine. Nearly 80 students were benefited by this demonstration.
