 
DISABILITY AWARENESS AND WELFARE CHECK-UP ON 18.05.2023 AT GOVERNMENT IE-CENTER NEAR UHTC-THIRUPORUR
As a part of Commemoration of Global Accessibility Awareness (GAAD), on 16/05/2023 at Government IE-Center near UHTC-Thiruporur. Disability Awareness and welfare check-up was planned. Dr. Pragnya Rettayan.K Senior Resident in Community Medicine, Faculty in-charge UHTC, Gave an Introduction on global accessibility to disability. Dr.Vishali.S Medical Officer UHTC , Dr.Rajalakshmi, Postgraduate in Community Medicine spoke to the parents and teachers regarding the need for inclusion, Ms.aarthi pal, Ms.afreen Fathima, Ms. Aiza samhitha Chandra, Mr.Akil V.Nair, Mr.Akshveer, Mr.Ajay kumar demonstrated via a skit on the importance of nutrition and total care to the parents and teachers. The Kids actively participated. Dr.Pragnya Rettayan.k , cleared various doubts among the participants. A wellness Health check up was done for all the participants. The event was well received by the Participants and the event ended with sweets, which was distributed to the kids.
