 As a part of World Environment day celebration, a health education session was conducted among 130 participants of Mahatma Gandhi national rural employment guarantee act employees of Sembakkam village. Welcome address and Introduction about world Environment day was given by Dr.R.Elavarasi Medical Officer,RHTC. Unfolding the theme -“Beat plastic pollution ,’Ecosystem Restoration” was done by Dr.R.Sindhuri (AP)centre in charge,RHTC. Causes and effects of Air pollution, water pollution, Soil pollution was explained by Mr.Hari Roshan RHTC intern. Merits of forestation and demerits of Deforestation talk was given by Mrs.Sabana RHTC Intern. A brief summary about world Environment day was explained by Dr.Sindhuri (AP). Various queries raised by the participants were clarified. The session was well received by the participants.
