SCREENING OF HYPERTENSION & AWARENESS CAMP ON 6/05/2023
As a part of Commemoration of world hypertension day on 6/05/2023 at Shri Sankara Old Age Home-Thandalam. Dr. Pragnya Rettayan.K , Senior Resident in Community Medicine, Faculty in-charge UHTC, gave introduction and Spoke about the importance of hypertension. Dr.Vishali.S Medical Officer UHTC , Dr.Rajalakshmi, Postgraduate in Community Medicine spoke about the lifestyle modification and need for regular check up for blood pressure. A skit was done demonstrating the complications of hypertension and various methods in controlling it . which was done by Mr.Thuyavan, Mr. Mathew Elumalai, Mr.Sibi Charkravathy, Mr.Gopinath, Mr.Hari Vishal, Ms.Yamini Ramesh. General health checkup was done to all the inmates of the home and along with screening of hypertension. Dr.Pragnya Rettayan.k , cleared various doubts among the participants. The event was well received by the Participants. The event ended well with vote of thanks.
