Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth celebrated the National Science Day 2024 (Theme: Indigenous Technologies for Viksit Bharat) by hosting a regional ‘Sir C.V.Raman SBMS STEM Essay Competition” for the school children from 9th to 12th standards. Simultaneously, competitions under four categories: Essay writing on ‘Diet and Nutrition’; Poster competition on ‘Environment and Pollution’; Medical Illustration; and Youtube shorts on ‘Technologies in Healthcare’ were held amongst the faculty and students of all constituent units of SBV. Winners from all competitions were awarded cash prize, certificates and medals. SBV Chancellor’s Trophy for the year 2024 was awarded to the best performing School (Sacred Heart Convent Anglo Indian Hr.Sec.School, Villupuram) and the best performing constitutent unit (School of Physiotherapy) of SBV. Prizes were distributed by Prof. Nihar Ranjan Biswas, Vice Chancellor of SBV. The events were organized by the Deanery Research and the School of Biomedical Sciences of Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth.
