The NSS Unit of Shri Sathya Sai College Of Nursing, conducted a cleaning program on 24 February 2024. The program was organized by principal, Dr.Helen Shaji J C, and coordinated by Mr.Dinesh, Program Coordinator of the NNS Unit and Mr.Vijay, Member of the NSS Unit. The Program began at 9:00 am. The NSS students started from college to Nellikuppam Village near to Sivan Temple area. The students were provided with the PPE equipment like gloves and other cleaning materials. They began the cleaning work by clearing all the dry leaves in the streets and public places. Following this they cleared the sand piles near the Sivan Temple area. Students
also cleaned the market place road area. Finally awareness talk was provided to the panchayat cleanliness workers on the use of PPE while cleaning, and segregation and disposal of the waste. The program concluded by 1:00 pm. Around 100 persons from the village witnessed the event.
