 As a part of commemoration of World Earth Day, A pledge taking activity was conducted for Medical interns posted at Rural Health Training Centre, Sembakkam on conserving the earth’s resources on 27/04/2023. In this activity, medical interns were asked to write their pledge on a piece of leaf shaped chart paper and paste it on the pledge chart designed in the shape of a tree. Along with the pledge, the names of interns who had taken the pledge was also pasted in the pledge chart. A total of 22 medical interns, along with Dr.Sindhuri, Assistant Professor in Community Medicine & RHTC Centre Incharge, Dr.Elavarasi, Medical Officer of RHTC and Dr.Rajalakshmi, Postgraduate in Community Medicine participated in the event. Later the pledge chart was displayed in the wall of RHTC. The program was well received by Medical Interns.
