 SBV HRD Cell Organized a Leadership training program on 2 nd December 2023 for the institutional leaders and administrators. The speaker of the day was Dr. Sasi Kanta Dash, Principal, Tagore Government Arts & Science College, Pondicherry. The program was organized at Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Hall, Bapuji Central Library, SBV Campus. Prof. Nirmal Coumare V, Director of Health, Hospitals and Outreach Services, SBV and Member, SBV HRD Cell, in his welcome address highlighted the purpose of such programs. He further during his welcome address, welcomed the guest speaker with a bouquet. Prof Carounanidy Usha, Director – Accreditation and Member SBV HRD Cell introduced the speaker of the day. In her introduction, she remembered the noble works carried out by him during the COVID–19 pandemic.
Dr. Sasi Kanta Dash, Principal, Tagore Government Arts & Sciences College, Pondicherry spoke on the topic “Developing Strategic Thinking & Effective Implementation “at length. In his address he remembered the noble souls that shed their lives due to the COVID–19 pandemic. He spoke in detail about the green initiatives taken at Tagore Government Arts & Science College by the students and his trusted team. He had video shows to the initiatives he had undertaken which have resulted in growth of dense forests in the campus areas. He also spoke about the initiatives to increase the student pass percentage and also reduce the dropouts. Dr. Dash heighted the steps involved in Strategic Planning of long-term goals and discussed about the steps involved in its effective implementation. This was followed by the Question and Answer session.
The Vice Chancellor of Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth honoured the speaker with a memento. This was followed by a Quiz session conducted by Mr. Joseph Naresh, Deputy Registrar, SBV, Prof. Prateesh Ravindran, Deputy Medical Superintendent (Super Specialty Services), MGMCRI and member SBV HRD Cell proposed the Vote of Thanks at the end, which was followed by the
National Anthem.
Mrs. Asha Suresh Babu, General Manager (Admin.), SBV and Member Secretary, SBV HRD Cell was the Emcee and conducted the entire program in an interesting way. The heads of various onstituent units / institutes of SBV including various heads of the departments and administrators of SBV participated in the event. At the end of the program, all the participants
were provided with high tea.
