Brief note on the ideas discussed in the workshops/brainstorming discussion sessions
Citizens have commitment such as educating their children, taking care of their sense of belonging from socio economic perspective, contributing to the society and most significantly (w) holistic health.The governments at the Centre/State should back the efforts of the citizens of India by dwelling on mutual thrust aimed at the promulgation of holistic wellness not only from the perspective of physical and mental health, but also in terms of upholding ethical values, societal well -being and transformation for the betterment of the community
Equity of gender and caring for the third gender should receive top priority (Wellness for all)
More R & D centers need to be opened in the portals of academic institutions with associated teaching hospitals that would foster research and development to provide facilities at affordable costs (Affordable Health and wellness for all)
Hospitals should be established with a progressive outlook that would nurture an innovative and personalized care leading to a healthier future for the citizens of India (Service of the future)
Preventive healthcare is the need of India and its AYUSH and integrative medicine could be applied to diseases and disorders that do not respond to the conventional allopathic modalities. Need to generate more of evidence based research in such areas (Service of the future)
