 
On October 1st, 2023, the constituent institutes of Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth, Mahatma Gandhi Medical College and Research Institute, Indira Gandhi Institute of Dental Sciences, Kasturba Gandhi Nursing College, School of Allied Health Sciences and the School of Pharmacy, participated in the “Swachhata Hi Seva” (SHS) campaign, a national cleanliness drive initiated by the Government of India. This report highlights the successful execution of the program under the leadership of Vice Chancellor Dr. Nihar Ranjan Biswas, along with the dedicated efforts of Dean Dr. Seetesh Gosh, Registrar Prof. A. R. Srinivasan, Vice principal student affairs Dr. kannan and Deputy Registrar Mr. Joseph Naresh. MLA Mr. Lakshmikanthan graced the Swachhata Hi Seva campaign as a special guest. Speaking at the event, he stated that the campaign was a movement to make Swachh Bharat a reality in India through the Swachh Bharat Mission branch. He urged the students to take advantage of the opportunity to promote cleanliness.
