 On 5th September 2023 (Tuesday), Student Nurses Association of Shri Sathya Sai College of Nursing organized Teachers’ Day on the birthday of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, former
president of India. All the teaching, non teaching faculty along with the Principal and the Vice Principal were present at the function. SNA Vice President gave the welcome address. The
function started with the welcome dance. Soon after that, one of the student gave a speech on why we celebrate Teachers’ Day and how Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan contributed to society. Soon after the speech, Prof Dr Helen Shaji JC, the Principal of SSSCON, gave a speech, thanking and appreciating all the teachers for their hard work and dedication, and for their role in helping the college achieve new heights. At the end of the speech by the principal, students performed various entertainment programs. Faculty also performed a comedy-drama that everyone enjoyed. SNA Secretary proposed vote of thanks. All the students were thanking the teachers for their efforts in shaping the life of students and inspiring them.
