The 75th Republic Day of our nation was celebrated in SSSMCRI

Republic Day is an integral part of India’s history, commemorating the day when the Constitution of India came into effect in 1950. The 75th Republic Day celebration marked a significant milestone in the country’s democratic journey. The grand event was organized to honour the values of justice, liberty, equality and fraternity enshrined in the Constitution.
The 75th Republic Day celebration took place on January 26, 2024. The day commenced with the welcome address followed by the traditional Republic Day parade at Rajpath in New Delhi. The parade showcased the rich cultural diversity of India through state-of-the-art tableaux, military displays, and vibrant performances. It’s a day to honor the Constitution of independent India. Every were in the country we celebrate Republic Day in our school, college, office, colony, etc.
The same we celebrated Republic Day in our college, everywhere students/cadets celebrate in different manner. Even our college also celebrates it in a unique style. We celebrated the 75th Republic day with patriotic favor at the college entrance of Shri Sathya Sai Medical College and Research Institute, Ammapettai, Nellikuppam. Chengalpattu District- 603 108, Tamilnadu.
Precisely at 9 AM in front of college block of SSSMCRI Prof. Dr. Joydeb        Roychowdhury, Dean raised the national triclolour and delivers the republic day address. There was a splendid display of March past displayed by the Security staffs of our college. Security officer have performed the National salute to the National flag with command.
The leadership team, Vice principals of various colleges in our campus, heads of departments (HoDS) Faculties, Causality Medical Officer, Nursing Superintendent, Administrators and SBV Chennai campus community SSSMCRI, SSSCON, SAHS students joined him, turning the flag hosting  into a solemn occasion that embodied unity and patriotism. 
Students gave inspiring speeches in different languages i,e., Hindi, English and Tamil and sang patriotic songs to pay rich tribute to our leaders who sacrificed their lives for the nation. These programs featured performances, speeches focusing on Constitutional rights, and the rendition of patriotic songs.
The 75th Republic Day celebration reached its culmination with a vote of thanks by      Dr. L. Manivannanan, Director of Physical Education and Yoga was organizing secretary of this programme and students council of SSSMCRI, an exchange of greetings during the national anthem, and the distribution of sweets. This significant event fostered unity and heightened patriotism within the SBV University SSSMCRI community.
It was very exciting to organize and to arrange all the required items from rangoli color to decoration items to decorate the flag pole and stage After the programme all the participants of students and staff members gathered on the flag post for a photograph.
This is the way we celebrated Republic Day at our college.
