“Positioning of essentials for perception on inspirational teaching and research for novice faculty in pharmacy”

The National level Virtual Faculty Development Programme was organized by School of Pharmacy, Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth and Mother Theresa Post Graduate & Research Institute of Health Sciences, Puducherry in association with the Tamilnadu branch of the Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India (APTI). The program was conducted from 04 to 25 April 2023 and aimed to provide a platform for novice faculty members in pharmacy to enhance their skills in teaching, learning and research. This FDP has awarded with 16 credit point by Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), Puducherry. The program had 16 sessions in total, covering various topics such as grant proposal writing, research methodology, plagiarism in research and publication, innovative teaching methodologies, NEP 2020 – Pharmacy Curriculum, framing CO & PO, CO-PO mapping, budget writing for EMR grant, predatory journals, quality research publication, opportunities and application drafting for national grant in aid, and mentor-mentee systems, Research methodology – conceptualizing a research design, Essentials of inspirational teaching and research, Impact of feedback system in teaching and learning. Each session was well-structured and interactive, with the speakers sharing their experiences and insights on the respective topics.
