A wonderful team has assembled at the Institute of Salutogenesis and Complementary Medicine of Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth for the TTP on Introducing Yoga to Children with Special Needs being organized by ISCM in collaboration with Kaivalyadhama Yoga Institute. The Ministry of AYUSH and the Dalal Family Foundation, USA.
Chief Facilitators of the Teacher Training Program are Yoga Thilakam Dr Meena Ramanathan, Vice Principal of the School of Yoga Therapy, ISCM of SBV and Dr Praseeda Menon, Asst Professor and Research Officer Kaivalyadhama.
The 3 day event was inaugurated by Prof NIHAR RANJAN BISWAS, Hon’ble VC of SBV in presence of Dr Sridharan Rajappa, Director of Indian Systems of Medicine & Homeopathy, Govt of Puducherry.
Pioneers of inspiring work with Children with Special Needs were honured on the occasion including Dr Sugathan M, Consultant Clinical Psychologist Founder SADAY School; Smt Chitra Shah, Director, Satya Special School; and Sri Saravanan Palani, State Coordinator, Samagra Shiksha, Directorate of School Education.
Sri Subodh Tiwari, CEO, Kaivalyadhama Yoga Institute & Secretary General of Indian Yoga Association felicitated the occasion along with Prof AR Srinivasan, Registrar, SBV and Prof Ananda Balayogi Bhavanani, Director, ISCM, SBV.
