As a part of World Blood Donation day , celebration, a health education session was conducted using charts for the general public and beneficiaries at keelur village . A total of 75 adults participated in the Program and Anemia screening camp. Health Education was planned based on awareness to general public on Dietary advise to prevent anemia and importance of blood donation. Welcome address and unfolding the theme was done by Dr.Pragnya Rettayan.K (Senior Resident) UHTC in charge , Dr.sindhuri Associate professor gave talk on importance of blood donation , Myths of blood donation awareness given by Dr.Sona Thresa, Associate professor, Dr.Raja Lakshmi 1st year post graduate created awareness on anemia symptoms , prevention and complications . Various Queries raised by participants were clarified by Dr.Pragnya Rettayan.K . Vote of thanks was given by Dr.Pragnya Rettayan.K The session ended with a Refreshment.
