Drawing competition for government primary school children at Sembakkam village on world water day (24/03/2023)
As a part of World water day celebration, a drawing competition was organized for 3rd, 4th and 5th Std students of Government primary school, Sembakkam village. A total of 45 students participated in the drawing competition conducted under the topic “SAVE WATER”. The event started with a Welcome address by Dr.Elavarasi, MO, followed by Introduction about water day by Dr. Sindhuri, AP and Unfolding the theme – “Accelerating the change to solve the water and sanitation crisis” was done by Dr. Rajalakshmi PG. Then the drawing competition was conducted for 1 hour duration. Out of 45 drawings, 3 best drawings were selected and prizes were distributed to the students. To encourage their participation, consolation prizes were given to all participants. Various queries raised by the participants was clarified. The session was conducted following social distancing and personal protective measure.
