The Department of Periodontology, IGIDS, SBV, and IDA Cuddalore successfully conducted a massive “Oral screening and treatment camp” on 13.10.2023 between 9 am and 2 pm at Seppakam,Veppur. The camp was conducted with the support of 5 Postgraduates, 4 Interns, 10 final years, and 3Faculty members. Screening, oral prophylaxis, and extractions for the school students and the public in the locality were done as a part of the program. A total of 186 patients were screened. Oral Prophylaxis was performed for 110 patients and 20 extractions were carried out. Patients were given oral hygiene instructions and were motivated to maintain their oral health.
