 As a part of Commemoration of menstrual hygiene day, We went for house to house visit to educate about menstrual hygiene on 26/05/2023 at Malai kovil street ,Thiruporur. Dr. Pragnya Rettayan.K , Senior Resident in Community Medicine, Faculty in-charge UHTC, gave introduction on menstrual hygiene day. Dr.Vishali.S Medical Officer UHTC, gave brief talk on the theme of menstrual hygiene day 2023 , Dr.Rajalakshmi, Postgraduate in Community Medicine spoke about the taboos on menstruation. Miss. Suga Preethi spoke about sanitary practices during menstruation. Miss. Binda Shaji talked about myths surrounding menstrual hygiene. Miss.Bommidi Dedeepya gave speech on pre-menstrual syndromes Dr.Pragnya Rettayan.k , cleared various doubts among the participants. The event was well received by the Participants.
