 As a part of World cancer day celebration, a health education session was conducted using flip charts & skit for the Employees of sub Registrar office thiruporur. A total of 55 workers participated in the Program. Health Education was planned based on the World Cancer day 2023 theme “Close the care gap “. Welcome address and unfolding the theme was done by Dr.Pragnya Rettayan.k Senior Resident UHTC. Introduction, Causes, early signs and symptoms of various cancers were explained by CRRIS, Ms.Monisha, Mr. Monika Ruban, ms.Mohana Priya, Ms. Monika Lawas,& Ms. Maria. Complications and treatment of Cancer/self-breast examination demo was done & was explained by CRRI Mr. Mohan, ms.sumaya and the  Importance of regular follow up and annual check up, diet, lifestyle modification was explained by 1st year Post graduate, Dr.Jananarthanan & Dr. monisha(CRRI). Various Queries raised by participants were clarified. The session was conducted following social distancing measures and personal protective measures.
