 
Prof. Subhash Chandra Parija completed his tenure as the Vice Chancellor of SBV on 18th February 2023. A farewell befitting the occasion and duly taking cognizance of the immense contributions made during his tenure was organized on 17th February 2023. Heads of the constituent units/ institutes, heads of various departments, senior functionaries of SBV, administrative heads were present at the function. Several speeches extolling the virtues and contributions of Prof. Parija were made. Prof. Parija thanked the Hon’ble Chancellor Shri. M.K. Rajagopalan, faculty, non-teaching staff and students for the stay at SBV which was personally gratifying, besides contributing its mite to the overall growth and the development of SBV since August 2018.
The fitting finale of the three hour long farewell function was the ceremonial bouquet presented to the outgoing Vice Chancellor, Prof. Subhash Chandra Parija by the incoming Vice Chancellor, Prof. Nihar Ranjan Biswas.
