 
The Program was organized by Department of Physiotherapy, MGMCRI, Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth, in association with Physiotherapist Welfare Association of Puducherry, Mother Theresa College of Physiotherapy, Sri Venkateshwara College of Physiotherapy, Arupadaiveedu college of physiotherapy, and JIPMER. All College Principal and Heads of Various Physiotherapy institutions in and around Pondicherry participated in this Program. Dean of Faculty, Professor Dr N. Ananthakrishnan was represented as Chief of guest and Dean of MGMCRI, Professor M. Ravishankar and Dr. Krishnasamy, Vice President in Tamilnadu Physiotherapy Council were felicitated as Guest of honour. Dr. Kaleeswaran chief physiotherapist in JIPMER given the welcome address and Dr. Supriya. K. Vinod, Principal of Mother Theresa college of physiotherapy folded the theme of world physical therapy day – 2019, Dr. Krishnasamy has been felicitated and honoured with a lifetime achievement award and in continuation, Dr. N. Anantha Krishnan gave the felicitating speech and Dr. Shanmugananth, HOD in Physiotherapy ended the inauguration with the vote of thanks.
