 As a part of National Anganwadi workers Day celebration, a health education session was conducted using charts for the Antenatal women in health and wellness center at Thiruporur. A total of 30 women participated in the Program. Health Education was planned based on awareness to antenatal mothers on anemia. Welcome address and unfolding the theme was done by Dr.Pragnya (Senior Resident) Causes, early signs and symptoms of Anemia were explained by MS. Priya CRRI, Complication and treatment of Anemia was explained by 2nd year PG, Dr.Aswariya. Importance of Iron diet, Myths about anemia & lifestyle modification was explained by the Mr.Nishant via demo. Various Queries raised by participants were clarified. vote of thanks as given by Dr.Pragnya Rettayan. The session ended with a Refreshment.
