 
The Phase I of DHR Sponsored training on Modern Biology in Health Research was held during February 1, 2023 to February 28, 2023.
Through wide advertisement the training program had attracted about 150 applicants nationwide. 15 participants from medical, science and pharmacy background was finally shortlisted to attend this program. For a month’s period, the training had an equal blend of scientific lectures and hands-on sessions in various areas of modern biology including advances in immunology, cellular and molecular assays, translational bioinformatics and statistical analysis in clinical research.
The training was given by experts from local, national and international levels such as National Research Council of Italy, Tubingen University, Germany, CMC, Vellore, National Institute of Immunology, and Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology, Thiruvanathapuram etc. In a nutshell the training module had 24 technical sessions, 25 hands on sessions, 2 demo sessions with an exclusive session on presenting research ideas.
