- Department of Microbiology, MGMCRI organized a Guest lecture on “Emergence of Vector-borne viral infections with emphasis on Zika virus outbreak” on 24.02.2016.
- The Guest Speaker was Dr. SivaSubramanian from KIPM, Guindy, Chennai.
- Prof. Ravishankar M, Dean, MGMCRI inaugurated the program.
- The aim of this guest lecture was to increase awareness of emerging Vector-borne viral infections in the light of recent outbreak of Zika virus.
