Shri Sathya Sai college of Nursing has involved in second phase of National Deworming week under Semmencherry UPHC from 13.09.21 to 27.09.21 with the aim to make every child worm-free. BSC (N) II Year (12in Nos.) Students with Dr.T.Sujatha, Professor, Dept. Of Community health Nursing, involved in this programme by distributing Deworming tablets ( Tab. Albendazole 400mg) to all families with Children of age 1-19 years at roads, camps and Primary health centre as guided by Dr.Sekkizhar, Medical Officer, Semmencherry UPHC, Ms.Tamil kodi, Sector Health Nurse and other Community health workers. Around 1200 families were provided deworming tablets and also insisted to wash hands properly, keep nails short, wear footwear & slippers, use clean toilets, Eat proper cooked & covered food and Drink safe clean water.
